DOTA 2, the game which is developed and produced by Valve Corporation is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) was released on 09/07/2013. This game is played by two teams each containing 5 members in it. The main goal of this game is to defeat the enemy team players and capture the areas in the battle arena.

Dota 2 can be played on Microsoft Windows, Linux, OS x devices. The minimum system requirements to play game is Dual core from Intel or AMD at 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 1 GB Graphics Card and at least 12 GB of hard disk space. The graphics in this game is not the best around in the market but for a MOBA game like Dota 2 game quality is more important than the graphics quality.

The is rated as 9/10 (on Steam) and 9.4/10 (on igm.com). The previous version of this game DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) was a mod for the game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. This game is then developed as a standalone game as DOTA 2. Dota 2 was started to develop from the year of 2009.

Dota 2 is not only an fun and enjoyable. This is also one of the biggest games in the competitive scenario it’s maximum prize pool of over 200 million US dollars. The highest prize an individual has won by the game is over 7 million by a 26 year old Danish player Johan Sundstein.

There are more than a few types of game modes such as All Pick, Captain's Mode, Single Draft, All Random, etc. All pick is the game mode in which all the hero’s in the game is available to all players. Captain's Mode is the game mode in which one player from each team can ban a hero which cannot be picked by both of them in that match. All Random is the game mode in which players are assigned random hero’s automatically but can change in the beginning of the match.

Because of the looks of the game, It is not easy to play just to hop in and gat wins as some of the other battle royal games around here. Dota 2 requires hours and hours of gameplay, game sense, tactics and strategies.

Dota 2 is released roughly 7 years ago. Although it is an old game, it is not going to be an old game for a gamer. It is free to play on steam. It is also one of the most played game every day.
